Vancouver to the mountains and back — Sea to Sky, Whistler, the Okanagan and Rogers Pass
One week, one rental car, and the best loop in British Columbia. Up the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler, inland through the Thompson canyons, down into the Okanagan for wine and lake days, north to Revelstoke, and back through the Fraser Canyon.

The drive out of Vancouver to Whistler is one of the most scenic highways in the country — Shannon Falls, the Sea to Sky Gondola at Squamish, and the Howe Sound cliffs the whole way up.
Ride the record-setting Peak 2 Peak Gondola between Whistler and Blackcomb, then take the Duffey Lake Road east — a spectacular, remote mountain stretch that drops into the desert canyons at Lillooet.
South from Kamloops into the wine valley: Kelowna’s lakefront, the Naramata Bench cellar doors, and the beaches at Penticton.
North-east to Revelstoke — drive the switchbacks of the Meadows in the Sky Parkway up Mount Revelstoke — then west through Rogers Pass and Glacier National Park.
Close the loop down the Fraser Canyon through Hope, with the Othello Tunnels and the river gorges as the last stop before the coast.
